This is a Seiko automatic dive watch that is nicknamed Samurai. This new Seiko Special Edition Samurai model is part of the new Save the Ocean collection. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this collection will be donated to the non-profit Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center that raises awareness of ways to preserve and protect the planets waters and endangered marine life. It has a distinctive graduated blue dial with a texture that resembles the surface of water. This is offset with a black bezel that has a blue scale that defines the first 15 minutes.

It features a Seiko 23 jewel automatic (4R35) movement, a date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility, a screw down offset crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. The 4R35 Seiko movement is self-winding and it can be hand wound and hacked. The movement has a 41 hour power reserve.

Comes on a really nice soft and pliable Seiko blue silicone strap. The black ion-plated case is 44mm in diameter. The hands are a new style patterned after the hands found on the Seiko Monster series of watches.
